11.WATER AND SEPTIC
The cottage is on a well and septic system. The water is potable and safe to use for drinking and washing, however there is mineral content in the water. The septic system is very effective; however, it can become clogged if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper. Please DO NOT flush feminine products at anytime.
12.INCLEMENT WEATHER/ROAD CONDITIONS
No refunds will be provided due to inclement weather. Country roads can be curvy and treacherous. The gravel driveway is well maintained, however we highly recommend four wheel drive vehicles during the winter months. No refunds are provided due to poor weather or road conditions.
13.WILDLIFE – PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE WILDLIFE
It is very important not to encourage any of our natural neighbours to become pests. It’s not good for them, and it can create big problems for humans. The only exception are the song birds (NOT ducks and other water birds), and there are feeders provided and stocked.
14.LIMITS OF LIABILITY
The cottage is privately owned. The owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occur on the premises or its facilities. The Cottage Owners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guests, or damage to property.
