Q. Where is Rosehill cottage?
A. Rosehill Cottage is located on one of the largest and most beautiful lakes in the Gatineau Hills, Lac McGregor. The travel distance is about 35 minutes from the Byward Market in Ottawa.
Q. I'm not part of a team. Can I attend as an individual?
A. Absolutely you are welcome to attend as an individual. Course material is non-specific for the set retreat dates.
Q. can you customize content for my company's specific needs?
A. Yes. If you book your team of 8 or more, we can discuss how best to meet your specific needs, and adjust content accordingly. We can also set a date for the retreat that suits you.
Q. How much does the retreat cost?
A. The Rosehill Cottage Motivational Retreat is a day-long experience valued at $795 (plus taxes) per person. The event includes transfer to-and-from Ottawa, meals and beverages, motivational programming, take-home printed materials and a boat tour of the lake (weather permitting).
Q. Can you make special accommodations (accessibility & food)?
A. We are happy to accommodate most food requirements, just let us know. Unfortunately, because Rosehill is a private lake-front property, it is not wheelchair accessible.
Q. it's a 'cottage' so what do you have for amenities? I won't have to use the outhouse, will I??
A. Rosehill is a cottage in name only. It's actually a four-season luxury lake house on two forested acres with 630 feet of secluded waterfront on the end of a cul de sac. We have private parking for 6 vehicles, gourmet kitchen, six bedrooms, and 3 bathrooms, a great room with loft, entertainment centre, radiant floor heating, screened porch and conference room. High-speed wifi is provided, and cellular reception is excellent. There is a back-up generator in case of power failure. There's even a Tim Horton's 10 minutes away.
Q. I see that some of the presentation is about sales. I'm not a salesperson. Should I aTTEND?
A. You don't have to be in sales to attend. If you talk to customers as part of your job, this retreat is for you. It's about learning new things, discovering what you want in life, and finding ways to improve interactions with others. That applies to just about all of us.
Q. What if I get lost trying to get there?
A. We thought the same thing. That's why we offer a complimentary shuttle service. If you prefer to drive, the roads are paved, and we are available by phone to give directions if needed. There is on-site parking for 6 vehicles. Just call our Director of Client Services, Ryan Heney at 613 867 4309.
